LAND CLEARING

An example of the results of our land clearing services.

What It Is

Land clearing is the process of removing trees, stumps, brush, rocks, and other obstacles to prepare an area for development, farming, and other uses.  This leaves a usable area safe for structures and roads, agriculture, and operating equipment.

Benefits

Land clearing not only increases the amount of usable space on a property, but also increases the properties value.  Cleared land has improved curb appeal and makes the property more attractive to potential buyers.  There are also several safety benefits such as reduced risk of wildfires and tree-related damages.  Clearing diseased plants lowers the risk of contaminating healthy vegetation and soil, and reducing overgrown areas helps minimize the presence of snakes, rodents, ticks, and other unwanted pests.

Applications

Construction & Development:

  • Land clearing is the first step for building houses, commercial structures, roads, and other infrastructure projects.  Industrial parks and utilities such as power poles and pipelines often require the use of land clearing as well.

Agriculture:

  • Clearing land creates room for planting crops, food plots, grazing livestock, and the installation and improvement of irrigation systems.

Environmental Management:

  • Land clearing can be used to improve soil quality by aerating the soil and removing large debris that can negatively impact growth.  This encourages the growth of new healthy trees and plants, and protects the soil against erosion.

Other:

  • Clearing can be used to create room for parks and other recreational areas, as well as renewable energy projects such as solar farms.  Clearing equipment is often used in disaster relief to help remove debris and clear up roads that are key to transporting important resources and individuals in need of medical attention.

RESULTS

A customer's land prior to using our land clearing services.

Before

Prior to clearing, this lot was overgrown and largely inaccessible.  Mature trees and encroaching underbrush filled the space and rendered it un-useable to our customer.

A customer's land after using our land clearing services.

After

This lot is now prepped for construction or agriculture and holds much greater value on the market.  Trees too large to be mulched were removed, and the remaining debris made clean and manageable.
